Ms. Joan Shelley is a true gem. Once you start listening, it’s damn near impossible to break yourself away from the beautiful sound that magically floats out of her mouth. If it’s even possible, I think her newest self-titled album might top her 2015 release Over And Even. Last weekend’s Headliners show was packed with local love, and Joan Shelley reciprocated by bringing to the stage a local guest for nearly every song. I brought a friend along who is new to town, and I basically had to drag her out to head to another show. Keep up the good work, Ms. Joan.
