So apparently a bunch of local musicians got together to create this multi-dimensional experience of Jesus Christ Superstar. Also, apparently, they’ve had a good time putting this together.
Monday (4/10) –
Todrick Hall certainly has an interesting background – starting out on American Idol and then growing his fame on YouTube – so I can only imagine that this album tour will be quite the event.
Tuesday (4/11) –
These guys will be bringing with them lots of strings, and even an accordion. You ready for some folky action?
Wednesday (4/12) –

This Louisville hip-hop centered event is back for another year. It spans the entire weekend, and is hosted by Tim Faulkner Gallery. Come check out some Louisville-centric art down in Portland.
Friday (4/14) –
This Ben Folds/Louisville Orchestra combo was incredible last time around. It is a safe bet this will be the same.
The founding member of Modern Lovers, singer-songwriter Jonathan Richman will certainly entertain you at Zbar.
Aubrey and Lil Wayne share a birthday. So there is a pretty tight connection there.

Saturday (4/15) –
GonzoFest has become one of our favorite spring time event. This year it changes again, with a new location (the Downtown Public Library), and free admission (a donation is accepted, though!) but the same Gonzo feel.
Our local muse, Teddy, welcomes his mentor (music director at the San Fran Symphony) Michael Tilson Thomas.
We’re p. excited about this one, especially after having been listening to the band’s newest album Notes of Blue (SO to WFPK for playing lots of it). Sing it to us, Jay.
A little new wave here, a little psychedelic there – should be a good one.
