We’re headed out on a couple of spring break, much needed, vacays, but here are some things you should do in our absence.

Adrian Below Power Trio, Saul Zonana

This man has played with a laundry list of artists including David Bowie, Frank Zappa, Paul Simon, Nine Inch Nails, Tom Tom Club and Talking Heads. That’s a pretty respectable resume.

Tuesday (4/4) –

Vinyl Night

Bring your fav vinyl for a spin at Galaxie.

Wednesday (4/5) – 

California Guitar Trio

These diverse musicians can play some diverse tunes. Be ready for just about anything.

Wu-Tang Wednesday

This new monthly gig is hosted by Matt Anthony &DJ DS (Rmllw2llz).

Thursday (4/6) – 

SFJAZZ Collective Plays the Music of Michael Jackson

Everyone who is anyone in the jazz world is a part of this group. Their interpretation of MJ’s greats will be incredible!

Reformed Whores

Their name kind of speaks for the music. Be ready for lots of gasps and laughs.

OMNI, Cereal Glyphs, Dicaprio

Outer Space hosts this Atlanta band.

Friday (4/7) – 

Late Night Jazz: Jazz Jam Sessions

Louis’ is under new ownership, but they’re still hosting the same cool stuff. We haven’t been in a while, this sounds like a great excuse for swinging by.

Drew Holcomb and the Neighbors – The Souvenir Tour

Drew Holcomb + crew has had a string of successful local shows. He is back at Headliners to show his new album, Souvenir. 

Kansas- 40th Anniversary Leftoverture Tour

1977 was apparently a good ass time (see below).

PRJCTR, Black Birds of Paradise

PRJCTR is celebrating the release of their new album.

Saturday (4/8) – 

White Reaper

White Reaper is celebrating their new album, The World’s Best American Band, and hitting the road. Zanzabar hasn’t experienced a White Reaper show, yet, so I’m sure the boys will break the space in properly.

The legendary Erykah Badu comes to town. Everything about her is spectacular.
