It is officially summer and this week is definitely jumping right into the summer, party vibes. We are headed for another year at ROMP in Owensboro but there is tons going on here in town. Father’s Day with your dad and some eccentric rock at Zanzabar might be the most perfect thing ever.
Monday (6/20) –
Four Pegs is our neighborhood jam and we’re interested in what this vinyl night slash 80’s party will look like. It absolutely has potential.
Tuesday (6/21) –
Always a winner.
Wednesday (6/22) –
So many of the YUM Center shows are outside of our comfort zone but they are so intriguing! Selena Gomez clearly has some pipes and is a fierce woman. Add in DNCE (aka a Jonas) and this night looks like your inner tween wet dream.
Friday (6/24) –
Free concerts in small Indiana towns are heavenly.
Milwaukee power pop, Chicago rock, and a couple locals. YUP.
The Quiet Hollers continue to kill it.
We’ve got lots of local options this weekend and this should absolutely be on the radar.
This folky harmony driven duo will soothe your soul.
Saturday (6/25) –
I guess they couldn’t legally call this Netflix and Chill, but we all know what is really going on here.
This four week summer event celebrates the season with the goal to raise funds and awareness for our friends and neighbors at the Waterfront Botanical Gardens!
The last Diane Coffee show was tremendous. No reason for it not to be the same.
Regional pop-folk sounds will fill the New Vintage this weekend.
The Cincinnati rockers are in town for a Headliners set. Opening are the increasingly impressive Frederick The Younger.
Seriously OUTERSPACE is the summer spot right now. Get down to Galaxie for Louisville stars in the delightful outside space.
Wednesday – Saturday (6/22 -25)
It’s ROMP, ya’ll! This is one of our most memorable summer time traditions and this year is set to be pretty spectacular. Bluegrass legends and some of our personal favorites will be in Owensboro this weekend.
