Live Music Lou’s Can’t Miss: January 31- February 6

There’s no rest of these gals. After an intense week with Free Week we have a minimal break as there are some absolute must see’s throughout the week.  We’ll be out no matter what, so come on and join us!  Check social media for our live adventures and hit up our homepage afterwards for some pictures and comments!

Sunday (1/31)-

An Evening with Macklemore & Ryan Lewis

This is set to be a pretty special evening.  Louisville has not hosted this duo since their breakout onto the scene a few years back, and The Palace will be bulging with fans stoked about the chance.

Tuesday (2/2)-

Louisville Is For Lovers 2016 LP Preview Listening Party
Get geared up for Valentines Day and the release of this Louisville-centric love focused LP.

Reverend Horton Heat with Unknown Hinson, Nashville Pussy, Igor and Red Elvises

This is gonna be entertaining for sure.

Thursday (2/4)-

Mayor’s Music & Art Series with The Tunesmiths

Instead of eating, take your lunch break with the mayor.

Patrick Sweany, Discount Guns

Patrick Sweany has quite the reputation.  His discography, collaborations and previous trips to Louisville have us anticipating this New Vintage gig.

Howell’s Hoot & Holler Karaoke

This last (and the first official) round was a blast, even for those that chose not to participate (me) in any of the karaoke fun. The wheel of karaoke death awaits you.

Friday (2/5)-

Curio Key Club, Tony Robot, ATOMO, Cold Brew & Tonic, aurgamiSOUNDSystem

The innovative Louisville band, Curio Key Club, head this Friday night Zbar lineup. Let Nancy make you a strong cocktail to end the work week and enjoy some local tunes.

Saturday (2/6)-

Diane Coffee

We heard Shaun Fleming (you might recognize him as the drummer of Foxygen) on World Cafe a few months back and we were impressed.  His retro, inventive solo project sounds like something you need to see in person. Join us.

Idiot Glee with Softchque

Some p cool dudes from right down the road (Lexington) are coming to Lou.  I get the impression that this Idiot Glee show is going to be lit.
