Live Music Lou’s Can’t Miss: December 27-January 2

We are back in town and ready to ring in 2016 in fantastic form!  Check social media for live updates and then back here afterwards for pictures and recounts of our adventures around town!

Sunday (12/27)-

Rumours: A Tribute to Fleetwood Mac

This Fleetwood Mac cover band has gained some big time popularity in Louisville and we have only ever heard good things about their show.  We’re sure sing-a-longs and some reminiscing will be accompanied with this Headliner’s show.

Thursday (12/31)-

There are lots of options out there for you- we’re crazy enough to see if we can hit multiple spots!

New Year’s Eve Prohibition Era Dance Party

Throw on your best flapper dress and get ready to celebrate a New Year like you’re from the 20’s- thankfully a time we never had to experience.

No Cover New Year’s at Haymarket

Considering this is FREEEEE and that the likes of Jalin Roze and The Deloreans among others, this baby is gonna be packed for sure.  If you’re trying to get any semblance of a spot, get there early and plan to stay late.

The Hot Wires, Jaxon Lee Swain, Blythe of the Ball

I can only imagine what a Zanzabar New Year’s bash consists of.

New Year’s Eve with Tony & The Tan Lines and DJ K-Dogg

Tony & The Tan Lines are New Year’s gold- you are pretty much guaranteed a tremendous, good time.

New Year’s Eve at Galaxie

The city’s newest dope AF hangout will be slinging drinks, flipping wakatakas and sharing some tunes. YUP, should be a superb option.

Four Pegs New Year’s Eve Karaoke Party

Karaoke sounds like the best or the worst New Year’s idea ever.

Friday (1/1)-

New Year’s Day Arcade Brunch

Let’s all be hungover together. JOY. LOVE. HAPPINESS. RESOLUTIONS.

13th Annual Townes Van Zandt Tribute

This free, New Vintage show includes lots of recognized names from around town in what has become a yearly gig.

Saturday (1/2)-

Madmen Across the Water: The Ultimate Tribute to Elton John with The Over Reactors

The second tribute of the week is set up to be another good one.

Jack Harlow, Big & Tall, BRXTN, Ace Pro, DJ Out Here

Saturday night hip-hop is becoming a weekly event for Louisville (and us.)  We have to go back to school on Monday, and so does Jack Harlow, which means everyone will be going all out Saturday.
