We still don’t know the location, and only a select few actually know if they’re getting in. Do502 certainly has kept its lips sealed about its official launch party this Saturday night. Folks have been able to RSVP now for a while for the chance to be included on this selective list, but that still didn’t guarantee a spot on the guest list. Last time I checked the site, it looks like there’s still time to RSVP, but time is quickly running out since they’re emailing those who have made the cut 24 hours before the show. In other words, you’ve got about 3 1/2 hours left. New Albany favorite Houndmouth will be performing, along with Louisville’s Twin Limb. This is Houndmouth’s last scheduled show of the 2014 year, so that should be incentive enough to try to get in!
Do502 has seemed to be a success so far. I’ve seen a lot of buzz about it on Twitter, Facebook & Instagram. Every time I log on to my profile, more and more people are adding events to their pages and promoting what’s happening around town. It’s been my go-to recently for finding events, especially on weeknights when we’re looking for something a little more low key.
I know I’m looking forward to being let in on the super secret, and can’t wait to see what tomorrow night brings.
