Wild Child swung through town a couple of weeks ago for a members only show at WFPK. I like what I heard. They make fun, layered indie pop that is hard to not enjoy. Trust me. Check out the new album below. They worked with a bunch of big name producers all over the world.
Hit up The Cure’s trivia and stay for Florida fuzz rock.

Women are taking over the indie scene right now. And we love it. (Be on the lookout for an essay I’m working on for a grad class on the subject.)
Remember this American Idol cutie?? Yeah, we do too… 😍

LouiEVOLVE is back! The format has changed and grown to a multi day, multi venue venture, but the goal of bringing multiple aspects of hip-hop culture to the people is still there. You’ve got plenty of options for paid experiences and a couple of freebies. Support this local arts scene! Check out the Facebook page or Eventbrite, as some venues have had last second changes.
Thursday (4/12) –
Jimmy Can’t Dance is the Thursday spot. WFPK has the cover taken care of, so you gotta just go!
Midwest indie rock is right up my alley.

We love us some Gonzofest! Honor Louisville’s own weirdo, Hunter S Thompson!
Headliners has posted recently that this one is almost sold out, so if you wanna go, get those tickets!
This new weekly dance party at Barbarella sounds like my speed… for a dance party, at least.
Check out these local chaps at our fav local spot.
Errthing Winona Ryder in one place including music, art, costumes, and drag! The event is produced and supports Fair Event Vendors Alliance, a community group connecting event professionals and the LGBTQ community.
