Poorcastle Fundraiser: A Louisville Music Tribute
We’re getting to that time when festival season explodes. In case you haven’t been yet, Poorcastle is a local, affordable festival full of Louisville bands. This event is a fundraiser for the fest and features LML faves Howell Dawdy, 1200, Small Time Napoleon, and Sam Sneed.
Your favorite 90’s Midwest rappers are still doing their thing- they even have new music!

Saturday (3/17) –
Zach Hart/We Listen For You has been going ON about this show since it was announced. From what we hear, it looks like this one could easily sell out at Zbar. If you want to catch this indie-rocker, get those tickets in advance.
We didn’t get enough K.R.I.T. during his last trip to town for Forecastle. Beaver is pretty excited to finally see this guy live, too. Louisville must feel the same way- this show is sold the eff out!
Wax Astro, Wet, Leopold Zimmerman
Fun fact: Britt first saw Wet back in 2014 in NYC opening up for Jungle. Fun fact #2: last week’s New Music Friday playlist featured a new song from them. Come see them and Louisville’s Wax Astro and Leopold Zimmerman at Kaiju!
Do you like to dance? Do you like to control the music you are dancing to? Do you mind looking a little ridiculous wearing those huge Silent Party headphones? Great! This one’s for you!
Sunday (3/18) –
TMBG are known for their unconventional – some might call it *weird* – and experimental music. They have certainly dabbled in different sounds over the years. I expect this will be an entertaining show.
