If you’re like us, you’re pretty happy that there’s a slight respite this week (at least to start out). Don’t we all need to catch up on some rest after Saturday’s JAM PACKED DAY?! Not to worry, there’s still plenty to see if you’re feeling up to it, and then let’s all cross our fingers for lower humidity for a beautiful Labor Day weekend! As always, check back here and on our socials after the shows.
Tuesday (8/30) –
Plus One Tuesday: Cropped Out /// Game Night
Your Tuesday drinks will support Cropped Out! Plus if you haven’t played Fibbage (the Vectortone crew introduced us this summer) its worth a stop at Haymarket.
Wednesday (8/31) –
3 Doors Down – Us and The Night Tour
I saw 3 Doors Down probably 5 or 6 years ago and it was a little weird, but let’s be honest, it was a college concert and the venue was definitely nothing like The Palace. Should be a fun night if you’re up for a trip down the 90s memory lane!
Let’s all do an anti-rain dance for Wednesday. Although the storms are set to mediate the absurd humidity we’ve been experiencing, it’s a Waterfront Wednesday! It goes without saying, Dr. Dundiff has had a pretty great couple of years, and when Dundiff and his pals show up, you know it is going to be a great show. We are also pretty hyped that The Bright Light Social Hour is back after having played for The KDF. For real, NO RAIN!!
Thursday (9/1) –
Howell’s Hoot & Holler Karaoke with TFCF
It’s been a minute since we’ve hit up Zbar for this good time karaoke. With a long weekend looming, we may make Thursday hot with Howell Dawdy and Twenty First Century Fox.
Friday (9/2) –
Hello there. Just listen to this live version below and you’ll feel the same way.
Celebrate the world and its beautiful cultures.
The Science Friction guys will bring the dance out of even the most reluctant folks.
Jesse Royals reggae vibes are exactly what we need at the end of the school week.
Saturday (9/3) –
Dusty has invited Jackson, Mississippi’s Young Valley to his living room. Those who love the Southern classics should get over to Garvin Place.
Butchertown Get Down Week 5: Jackie Brown with John Penn
A Saturday staple.
