Forecastle has us all kinds of warn out, but there is plenty happening this week, so let’s keep rolling. Don’t worry, we’re giving you a one day break. Be sure to check out our socials throughout the week and back here again at the end
Tuesday (7/19) –
Get a double dip at Haymarket with the Defining Five Series followed by a little magic trickery. It is quite an interesting combination, but for sure will be entertaining. Free is always great, too.
JK the Defining Five has moved to next Tuesday and YO GIRLS ARE GOING TO BE PRESENTING! Sorry we’re pretty excited. But come hang and hear some of our five most meaningful songs.
Wednesday (7/20) –
The Vectortone crew keeps dropping dimes.
We heard/read great things about Savages set down at Shaky Knees a few months back, so we’re excited to see this group in person. ALSO if you want tickets, we’re giving a few pairs away! Check out our Facebook or Twitter for more details.
New Vintage plays host to some KY proud bands that play some innovative rock music.
Thursday (7/21) –
I haven’t made it to a Rye BPS yet, so I’m excited for an evening with 3 Louisville bands that we have come to love.
Dusty’s Living Room will host this fantastic folk group. Rumor has it that this band was the first to ever play a LRS show and there will be a carnitas buffet. Seems too perfect.
It is very much not a reunion tour, but the 80s/90s band is together again and taking Headliners by storm.
Head down Market for margz and jamz.
Friday (7/22) –
Girls always rock!
Free summer swag at its finest. It is looking like it is going to be hot as ____, so make sure to bring a lawn chair and find some shade!
The Kentucky native is set to fill Zbar Friday night.
C2 and the Brothers Reed hail from Lexington.
Young Queens, NY-flavored rock and roll.
This Friday night dance party has become part of our weekly routine.
Saturday (7/23) –
Michael Franti is an unbelievably multi-faceted artist, that goes without saying. Iroquois is going to be the perfect backdrop.
We all know that the Louisville hip-hop scene is on the up and up, and this is the can’t miss show of the weekend for sure.
We always seem to stumble on Kaiju shows on our way home.
