Live Music Lou’s Can’t Miss: While We’re Away…

We are both leaving on some abroad adventures for a couple of weeks, so we won’t be able to share our weekly top posts over that time. In preparation, here are the major shows that are already announced and that we are SUPER bummed about missing. Please go and make us mad jealous!

Sunday (6/5) –

Bunbury Festival

It is crazy that we still have never been to this just-down-the-road festival and this year is just the same. We seem to always be traveling but are always quite jealous of both the lineup and vibes. Maybe next year?

Tuesday (6/7) –

Haim

Haim has been on our need to see list since the release of their only album a couple of years ago. These sister are mad talented and are clearly having a wonderful time doing what they love to do.

Wednesday (6/8) –

The Joy Formidable

This Welsh band seems like a fun band of some characters. I would totally hang out with this crew. They had been off the map for a bit working on this new release, The Hitch, but they are out touring to share this new work.

Thursday (6/9) –

Leon Bridges

Leon’s voice and style is reminiscent of times past but his smoothness is certainly appreciated now. This one was announced forever ago and the anticipation has been building.

Friday (6/10) –

The Monkees

I mean it is The Monkees. This would check off another of our “wall” concerts.

Saturday (6/11) –

BØRNS and Saint Motel

The style of both bands is exactly what is in right now. Their dreamy tunes are super catchy and easy to listen to.

Anderson .Paak & The Free Nationals

.Paak is clearly a creative soul and his newest album, Malibu, absolutely attests to this. It sensuous yet serious and truly some beautiful work. You’ve got a tough choice between these two shows this nice, luckily you can’t really go wrong.
